Payton Godsey, a senior at Oaks Christian School in California, won her third consecutive Division 4 girls title at the CIF Southern Section Championships by covering the adjusted 3-mile rain course layout in 16:12.7 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Godsey helped the Lions place second as a team behind three-time winner JSerra High by a 31-79 margin.
