The Edison High girls' cross-country team is headed to the CIF State Cross-Country Championships Saturday. The Chargers earned a spot in the State meet at Woodward Park in Fresno by finishing in seventh place in the Division 1 team standings at the CIF Southern Section Cross-Country Championships at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Individually, junior Norberto Osorio of Fountain Valley and Marina senior Craig Huff qualified to run at the State meet. Edison finished with a team time of 1 hour 32 minutes, 41 seconds (1:32:41) on the three-mile course. The Chargers finished 17th, overall, among all schools competing in the five girls' divisions.
