JSerra High of California had six athletes in the top 13 to capture a third consecutive Division 4 girls team title with a 31-79 victory against Oaks Christian School at the CIF Southern Section Championships at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Sophie Polay took third on the adjusted 3-mile rain course layout in 16:35.4, followed by Kaylah Tasser taking fourth in 16:38.7, Summer Wilson finishing fifth in 16:50.1, Brynn Garcia securing seventh in 17:12.6, Reese Holley overcoming an early fall to rally for 12th in 17:44.9, Chloe Elbaz achieved 13th in 17:45.0 and Anne Elise Packard also recovered from a fall to grab 38th in 18:46.3 for the Lions, who triumphed by a 56-101 margin against Oaks Christian last season and produced a 77-94 victory against La Canada in 2021.
