Zachary Gibson, a senior at Santa Margarita High in California, took third in the Division 3 boys final at the CIF Southern Section Championships by covering the adjusted 3-mile rain course layout in 14:28.9 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut. Gibson helped Santa Margarita take third as a team with 115 points.
